Australia's Top Dragon Games Perform in Q4 2020

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Australia's mobile gaming landscape saw varying performances among the top dragon-themed games across the unified iOS and Android platforms. Here's a look at how these games fared during this period, courtesy of insights from Sensor Tower.

Dragon City - Breed & Battle! saw a decline in revenue from $55K in the last week of September to $33K by the end of December. Downloads followed a similar pattern, dropping from around 9.6K to 5.4K in the same timeframe. The weekly active users decreased from 123K to 111K.

Merge Dragons!, published by Gram Games, experienced a decrease in weekly revenue from $106K to $93K. Downloads showed a slight decrease, with a starting point of approximately 4K and ending the quarter at 3.1K. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at around 57K and finishing at 53K.

Gameloft's Dragon Mania Legends generated less revenue, from $6.9K to $4.3K, while downloads saw an upturn from 2.2K to 3.4K. Weekly active users showed an increase from 8K to almost 9K by quarter's end.

Frost & Flame: King of Avalon by FunPlus International AG had notable revenue fluctuations, peaking at $131K in late October and settling at $71K by the close of December. Downloads dipped from 2.7K to 2.1K, and active users saw a slight increase from 26K to 25K.

Lastly, the newcomer Dragonscapes Adventure from DianDian Interactive Holding displayed growth in all areas. Revenue grew from $3.3K to $9.3K, downloads surged from 385 to 4.4K, and active users leaped from 1.7K to 8.7K.
